$50K Raised to Help Special Needs Orphans in India 06/20/17 Compass Church

Thank you Compass! Over $50,000 was raised at this year’s Day of Hope Golf Tournament benefitting Central India Christian Mission (CICM).

These funds will be used to build a school for over 130 blind and deaf children at the Raighar Children’s Home. Compass has played a major role the last few years in providing dorms and a chapel for these children and now they will have a facility for classes. While education is vital to all children, for these kids it’s their only hope to find employment later in life.

Pastor Drew and Michelle Sherman and Missions Pastor Rob and Shannon Maupin recently visited CICM and met some of these children. They saw first hand the need. “It’s an amazing opportunity to provide tangible help for these orphans and their futures,” Rob said in regards to the funds for Day of Hope.

You can be a part of providing hope and healing to these kids through our UNCHARTED initiative. Trust God beyond your borders, beyond your walls, and beyond yourself in your generosity.
